Kelly Collins

Mrs. Collins joined the Appleton Area School District in 2020. Prior to being appointed as the new principal at Ferber, she led Peshtigo Elementary Learning Center (6 years) and Oconto Elementary School (1 year). Most of her teaching years (16 years) were spent at Preble High School, in Green Bay, where she taught English.

Mrs. Collins grew up in Altadena, California but loves living in Wisconsin, enjoying the seasons and the outdoors. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Viterbo University.  She will begin her doctoral studies in 2021.

In her spare time, Mrs. Collins loves to refinish furniture, read, garden, and spend time with her family, which includes seven children and a lovable Golden Retriever named Winston, who is being trained as a certified therapy dog.

Tim Wiedenbauer

I have been with the Appleton Area School District for the last three years. Before the Dean of Students role, I was a paraprofessional at Badger Elementary. While at Badger, I received my Masters in School Counseling from Lakeland University in November 2020. Outside of school, I like to do yard work, grill out and woodworking. I have two cats and a 125 gallon saltwater fish tank full of coral and fish.
